Hi, I’m Lucy!
Welcome to The Gilded Needle — a cozy corner of the stitching world where beginners can create beautiful needlework that celebrates what they love most.
OUR STORY
By day, I was a nurse, a job that kept me moving and thinking fast. But when I came home and picked up my needle and thread, everything slowed down. Stitch by stitch, a blank canvas becomes something meaningful. That quiet transformation is where I truly unwind.
A few years ago, I began designing custom patterns for customers, their pets, their homes, the little things that made them smile. One design turned into ten… then a hundred… and before long, I had created over 1,000 custom patterns for people who wanted to stitch their own stories.
Through it all, my mom has been right by my side, encouraging me, cheering me on, and helping bring The Gilded Needle to life. What started as my creative outlet quickly became something we shared, and today she plays a special role in the shop alongside me.
That’s when I knew this was more than a hobby.
The Gilded Needle was born in the small town of Loudonville, Ohio, built on the belief that everyone deserves to create something beautiful with their own hands, even if they’ve never stitched before.
